Looking Ahead

I am excited to write my first president’s letter for SPUC.
It’s amazing to think how far we have come in the past few years. This was highlighted by an amazing meeting this past October in Seattle, Washington. We had over 150 attendees from over 30 states and even three other countries. We enjoyed wonderful speakers, hands on workshops, poster presentations and fun networking dinners. We have many exciting things on the horizon. We are planning our next conference at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando, October 4-7, 2018.
We are looking for new board members to help us continue to grow our services. We are looking at how we can support you to have MOC opportunities that are pediatric UC specific, provide benchmarking data, and support you in seeing pediatric patients in UC. We have a few committees and we are always eager for interested members.
