Pediatric Urgent Care has a rich community of smart, motivated providers working in diverse settings across the country. However, there is not a forum to support peer-to-peer learning across sites and systems. The lack of true peer learning network leads to fragmentation, duplication of efforts, and frustrated medical directors wondering, “How can we improve our Pediatric Urgent Care when all the best evidence was created in either emergency departments, primary care clinics, or with adult populations?” There is a need for a series of participatory, web-based webinars designed to address educational, professional, and system gaps.
Join SPUC and CHW for weekly webinars designed to equip providers with knowledge of best practices for common Pediatric Urgent Care conditions. The goal is to foster a community of providers through academically rigorous, web-based lectures. This webinar series creates the infrastructure for Pediatric Urgent Care systems across the country to spread ideas and to learn from one another. In addition, the webinar series gives providers an ongoing opportunity to earn CME in topics speciﬁc to Pediatric Urgent Care.
Every presentation will be broadcast as a webinar using Webex or Zoom Platform. PowerPoints, Participant Surveys and Supporting Documents will be distributed to SPUC members through the SPUC website and member listserv. Schedules for Urgent Care Providers can be variable week to week. Webinar slide presentations will be archived in the member section of the SPUC website.
